Strategic management control system in respect of the sales for a large sales, trading and retail company

The customer that was recently spun off from the group at the start of the project requires its own central database system that allows for the necessary proof of sales and commission and the revenue accounting in the form of variable settlement, and in addition with daily figures constitutes an effective management control instrument.

Multi-channel web portal

The customer would like to set up a multi-channel web portal to take into consideration its requirements in respect of the technological and innovative market leadership. It is envisaged that such a portal provide end customers with a variety of services and opportunities covering all aspects of their mobile telephone contract and their mobile telephone. An innovative offer for 2000 that to date does not provide the conceived scope for contractual customers of a mobile telephone supplier.

The customer that was recently spun off from the group at the start of the company required its own data warehouse for the central recording of all relevant sales, employee and product data, and an efficient analysis & reporting solution that constituted an effective controlling instrument for the strategic company management by way of evaluating daily figures.

So the customer requires a complex, interactive, management and reporting system that, in addition to illustrations in tabular form, allows in particular for a graphic illustration of trends and KPIs etc.: the so-called business intelligence on demand.
